GOAL: Read 100 books!

I have read from a book that if I would like to write a 'novel', I should have at least read a hundred books. That was something that really sparked my curiosity. I was never a fan of books...until the birth of Harry Potter.

Yeah, of course I read school books which is more like a torture than a learning experience. But, I actually like the stories from my 'Reading' subject way back in grade school.

Back then, I had separate classes for 'Language' and 'Reading' which apparently, in high school was called the English subject. And well, to be fair, I love reading fairy tales. I read them like a thousand times but still pretend I don't know anything about them when I go back to the first page. The magic lives on, until now. But that's it! My reading ability is limited to fairy tales, fables and parables. I'm VERY selective when it comes to reading books. I like reading something that I can finish in one sitting. So, I really gave myself some credits when I read the Harry Potter series. I've always been intimidated by thick books, like they're SO not meant for me. But sometime around college, I started to browse through different kinds of stuff.

I started reading biographies - I realized it's nice to know about other people's stories too! Man, am I too selfish to just focus on myself all those times? I read human manuals and practically anything that would help me become a better version of myself. I read self-help books - these books really helped me during the time when I just needed someone to inflate my ego. I tried reading other novels as well. But my favorites are books about life lessons. These are real things about the authors put to paper in a very creative way.

So, basically, I took the challenge of really counting the books that somehow made impact to me. So far, I came up with this list and I'm hoping to add more! Told you I'm lousy in reading! Also, you might find several books here under one author. I'm kinda loyal to my favorite authors.
